Waiting for silicon

18 days to go.
----------------

Another uneventful day at the office. Checked our company's stock price every 23.2 minutes in yahoo (down 14 cents). Stared at a schematic of an inverter for 2 minutes. Ran simulations. 18 days from now and I'll see the real thing anyway so why bother?Thought about buying the new iMac mini. sweet little thing. Listened to the Corrs on my ipod.
Aaargh!!! Hate the wait (ala do the dew).

Another failed rebellion in the Philippines. Scratch that. All rebellions are failures. If it succeeds it's a revolution. Revolt. That's the word I'm looking for.
Revolting is the appropriate word...
... for the military, with their delusions that they can be better leaders
... for the politicians, who takes advantage of the situation for their own political ends
... for Gloria, who is just, well, revolting.

Moving on to the good news.

1000+ Filipinos (still) buried in mud.
70+ trampled to death in a game show where contestants can tell corny (and sadly, desperate) jokes to win $10.
300+ arrested in a "one-stop illegal drugs shopping mall".

And here I am in Boise, scratching my balls, complaining about my boring day at the office while waiting for silicon.
