Eragon and Norma Rae

I love the book. Can't wait for the last installment from this young writer. The next Tolkien. Imaginative. Not here to talk about the book, though.
The wifey rented the Eragon DVD this afternoon. The movie sucked. Big time. It wasn't even that long. One and a half hours and it felt forever watching it. Except for Jeremy Irons, who died early, everyone else was horrible. The special effects were ok but after the Lord of the Rings Trilogy people would expect more from this genre.

Wasted two bucks. 1/2 star out of five

Borrowed "Norma Rae" from the Book Mobile and watched it last weekend with the wifey. A story about a union organizer from New York and his first convert Norma Rae (Sally Field). I always love it whenever the movie location is in the South. Loved the accent, hated the racism. Anyway, this is the only Hollywood movie about unions that I have seen and I enjoyed it a lot. This is about the plight of the textile workers in the South and their struggle for better working conditions. Great movie. 4 stars out of five.
